Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with on-prem and cloud expertise to support our infrastructure platform. You will join an operations, software, and analytics team helping intelligence analysts across a broad national security user base.

This role requires U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with CI poly, plus a Bachelor's degree with extensive DevSecOps/Linux experience. You will implement IaC, automated pipelines, and ensure ATO compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).
• Bachelor's degree with 14 years of total professional experience in a technical support role (additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree).
• Demonstrated technical experience with DevSecOps and strong Linux experience.
• Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience.
• Capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums.
• Willingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

• Leverage OpenShift and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment.
• Create and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration scripts using ansible, chef, or similar tools.
• Create and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, Cucumber, JMeter, and Cypress.io.
• Monitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applications.
• Oversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning, patching or documentation.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.
