Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer located in Herndon, VA to support development, integration, and cybersecurity compliance of various intelligence capabilities into a Development and Production environment. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable systems and developer platforms across private cloud networks.

Qualifications

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a CI polygraph.
• Must be able to work in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA 40/hours a week.
• Minimum of 5+ years of Industry experience as a DevOps engineer with related degree.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (Python, Go, Java, C#, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage highly available applications to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable code to automate cybersecurity workflows.
• Build and maintain CLI tools, APIs, and dashboards for developer efficiency.
• Implement and maintain Nomad and Kubernetes clusters for workload orchestration.
• Execute DNS configuration and performance tuning for enterprise systems.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and manage multiple CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or equivalent.
• Perform system monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Automate security testing and monitoring within DevOps workflows.
• Analyze cybersecurity findings with the team and address false positives.
• Assist in assembling Body of Evidence for software packages approvals.
• Integrate static code analysis tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create tools to automate cybersecurity analysis and compliance.
