Merlin System Solutions is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead CI/CD pipelines for federal agency clients. You will own Build & Release, packaging, and security scanning, coordinating with development and security teams to deliver secure, scalable applications.

The role requires DoD-related clearance, strong cloud experience (AWS GovCloud/Azure Gov/GCP), and hands-on use of Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.

Qualifications

• Holds an Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (e.g., Security+).
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and deploying artifacts and applications in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity controls, scans, and remediation of findings.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Own the Build & Release process, including code compilation, packaging, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in coordination with development and security teams.
• Interface with internal cloud provisioning teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and security controls are applied.
