Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support a DoW Security Operations Center. The role combines hands-on engineering with mentoring, focusing on securing, automating, and troubleshooting SOC systems and integrating subscribers with SOC services.

The ideal candidate brings deep Kubernetes/OpenShift, IaC, CI/CD, Linux, cloud, and security expertise, plus strong communication to work with customers and teams. On-site DoD facility involvement is required.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
5+ years hands-on Linux systems administration/troubleshooting (RHEL preferred).
Proven Kubernetes/OpenShift experience across dev/stage/prod.
IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible.
CI/CD pipeline design and troubleshooting across environments.
Cloud experience (AWS) and virtualization (VMware vSphere).
Security controls and SBOMs in DevSecOps delivery.

Responsibilities

Engineer, secure, and troubleshoot Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
Develop and maintain IaC and configuration automation (Terraform, Ansible).
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security automation.
Troubleshoot cross-layer issues across Kubernetes, Linux, cloud, networking, and identity.
Collaborate with customer teams to gather requirements and resolve issues.
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
Support vulnerability remediation and cyber compliance activities.
Work on-site in a secured DoW facility.
