Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support a large DoD healthcare cloud environment. This fully remote, hands-on role focuses on engineering, automating, securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise container platforms and the DevSecOps tools that support them.

The ideal candidate brings deep Kubernetes experience (OpenShift preferred), strong IaC, CI/CD, Linux, cloud, and security skills, plus the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with customer teams.

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance.
5+ years hands-on Kubernetes engineering and admin experience.
Strong Linux administration (RHEL) and troubleshooting.
Experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC/automation.
CI/CD pipelines design and maintenance experience.
Experience with Git-based workflows and GitLab.
Strong understanding of containers, container images, registries, and lifecycle.
Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Engineer and secure enterprise Kubernetes/OpenShift environments for dev/staging/production.
Develop and maintain IaC and automation using Terraform/Ansible.
Design and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and security scanning.
Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes, Linux, cloud, networking, and security.
Collaborate with customers and application teams to gather requirements and resolve deployments.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Support platform modernization and DoD/regulatory compliance efforts.
