Job summary

CACI International in the United States seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a DoD/AF-focused DevSecOps team. You will help deliver, secure, and operate cloud-native platforms with Kubernetes, Big Bang deployments, Terraform IaC, GitOps, and secure CI/CD in mission-critical environments.

The role emphasizes implementing DISA STIGs and NIST RMF controls, building reusable pipelines, managing RBAC and secrets, and maintaining GitOps workflows.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with eligibility for Secret Clearance.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience with a related degree.
• Experience with Terraform modules and reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns for cloud, network, and Kubernetes resources.
• Experience implementing GitOps workflows with tools such as Argo CD, Flux, GitLab, or GitHub.
• 3–5 years designing and deploying Kubernetes-based solutions; Big Bang is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and secure DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, NIST SP 800‑53, ATO processes, POA&M management, continuous monitoring, and security evidence generation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain Kubernetes platforms using Big Bang, Helm, and GitOps.
• Develop Terraform IaC for cloud, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, and services.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and controlled releases.
• Triage and remediate security findings per SLAs.
• Implement hardened Kubernetes and cloud baselines aligned with DISA STIGs, NIST RMF, and organizational requirements.
• Manage Kubernetes security controls including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management.
• Maintain GitOps workflows and ensure environments align with approved code.
• Monitor CI/CD platforms, runners, deployments, and Kubernetes workloads; troubleshoot issues.
• Automate patching and compliance validation to reduce drift.
• Produce security and operational documentation and POA&M updates.
• Support RMF and ATO lifecycle activities with control evidence.
