Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure software pipelines for classified environments in Reston, VA.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to integrate security across the SDLC, ensuring high-quality, secure software delivery. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph, 10+ years in DevSecOps, and hands-on expertise with AWS-focused IaC, CI/CD, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, and scalable pipelines.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps services across multiple classified domains.
• Proficient with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker in secure environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash on Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions across multiple classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines from scratch using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG validation.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Provide security guidance, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations to development teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain clear technical documentation.
