Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer to support accreditation and operation of a cutting-edge platform for centralizing TCPED of OSINT across Defense and IC enterprises. The role leverages cloud computing, AI/ML, and cross-domain transfer systems to provide advanced data exploitation and analytics capabilities.

The position requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, on-site commitment in Bethesda, and deep experience with RMF, STIGs, Kubernetes security, and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with substantial DoD/IC cybersecurity experience.
• Active DoD 8570-IAT/IAM Level II or higher certification.
• Hands-on Linux and scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience with cloud services (prefer AWS) and RMF processes.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-37/53, CNSSI 1253, and DoDI publications.
• Experience implementing STIGs across OS, DB, server, and app tiers.
• Experience with RMF/GRC platforms (Xacta/eMASS).
• Knowledge of security in CI/CD, containers, and orchestration.

Responsabilités

• Assess cybersecurity artifacts and provide feedback on architecture and engineering outputs.
• Perform periodic compliance scans, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis for cloud systems.
• Implement and manage security controls for containerized apps and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to ensure secure coding and engineering practices.
• Develop automation for STIG compliance and validation and monitor cloud architectures.
