Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC seeks a Cloud Security Engineer 4 to secure and maintain compliant cloud platforms across secure networks. You will lead security for cloud-native environments, perform risk assessments, and implement controls for Kubernetes and containerized apps.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph eligibility, 10+ years in the field, and DoD 8570-M IAT II+ certification. Collaboration with government counterparts is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in the field.
• At least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification.
• 5+ years cloud experience securely configuring and deploying AWS.
• Proven experience securing Kubernetes platforms and integrating security into CI/CD and containers.
• Experience with RMF, vulnerability management, and cloud compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide security expertise for cloud and cloud-native environments.
• Perform assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis for cloud systems.
• Manage security controls for Kubernetes clusters and containers.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
• Develop ATO packages and ensure compliance with NIST and ICD standards.
• Collaborate with compliance, engineers, architects, and government counterparts.
