Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a classified AWS environment for a federal program. The role requires TOP SECRET clearance and a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.

The candidate will design, automate, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on-site in Washington, DC, implementing DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure operations in a DoD/IC context.

Qualifications

• Deep AWS cloud services, Terraform IaC, Linux administration, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience building secure, automated DevSecOps pipelines for DoD/IC environments.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST and FedRAMP security frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Administer Linux systems for high availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash or Python for provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption in AWS.
