Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to advance our DevSecOps practice, delivering automation for cloud and application development. The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience with cloud services, CI/CD, and security-focused DevSecOps practices.

The candidate will establish automation infrastructure, mentor the team, and contribute to continuous improvement across deployment pipelines, tooling, and processes. Expect active collaboration with developers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with one or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 5+ years with Git SCM providers (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• 5+ years with programming or scripting languages.
• 5+ years DevSecOps in Agile environments.
• 3+ years implementing Docker and Kubernetes.
• 5+ years IaC and orchestration.
• 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, TravisCI).
• 5+ years integrating deployments with DevSecOps tooling and orchestration.
• Experience with test automation integration into CI/CD (performance, security, functional).

Responsibilities

• Establishing development tools and infrastructure for automation
• Understanding stakeholders' needs and conveying to developers
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing fixes
• Mentor team members and ensure processes are followed
• Document as-is state of the environment and produce options/recommendations
• Leverage virtualization and containerization to modernize software systems
• Present status updates and cross-train DevOps teammates
