Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer III to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes air‑gapped operations, secure IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and strong security tooling integration.

The ideal candidate will work with GitHub/GitLab, Docker, and modern observability stacks (ELK/Prometheus/Grafana) to ensure compliant, high‑quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Develop secure IaC using Terraform or Ansible and integrate security throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize processes and ensure reproducible software delivery.
