Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments across on-prem and cloud environments with air-gapped operations. You will build secure infrastructure using Terraform/Ansible, implement observability, and integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.

The role requires container tech proficiency, GitOps workflows, IaC, and collaboration with development teams to ensure compliant, reproducible software

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically, 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language, and general knowledge of others.
• Strong understanding of software development principles.
• Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
• Experience with different software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum/Kanban.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Design and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible.
• Implement comprehensive observability and security throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize processes and ensure high-quality, reproducible software delivery.
