Panopto, a remote-first leader in video knowledge management, seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own security across scalable AWS/Kubernetes platforms. You will embed secure controls into CI/CD, implement policy-as-code, and collaborate with engineers to reduce risk while maintaining velocity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security engineering, DevSecOps, software development, or cloud infrastructure security.
• Experience securing video streaming architectures or high-scale backend services.
• Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or CKS.

Responsibilities

• Design Secure Systems: lead threat modeling across features and AWS services.
• Drive CI/CD security: implement SAST/DAST/SCA in delivery pipelines.
• Secure Cloud & Container Infra: set guardrails in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, IaC.
• Policy & Automated Governance: implement policy-as-code for compliance.
• Leverage AI security tools: integrate AI-assisted tooling for code reviews and triage.
• Lead Incident Response: own investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Mentor Engineering Teams: coach on secure coding and remediation.
