Backblaze, a leader in cloud storage, is seeking a Sr. Developer Relations Manager to shape how developers engage with Backblaze B2 and our AI tooling ecosystem.

You'll oversee a cross-functional team to define developer strategy, build credible technical presence, and foster a thriving community across GitHub, open source projects, and events.

This remote US role offers competitive compensation and equity, with a focus on adoption, activation, and measurable developer impact.

Qualifications

Proven DevRel leadership at cloud infra, open source, or AI tooling.
Experience building developer programs, not just contributing to one.
Ability to read code, discuss tradeoffs with engineers, and build credible tech presence.

Responsibilities

Define a unified developer strategy across engineering, docs, content, and SE.
Coordinate cross-functional resources to execute the strategy.
Develop and nurture the developer ecosystem, events, and community partnerships.
Establish a tight feedback loop from developers to product and engineering.
