Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Sr. Developer Relations Manager to lead the developer presence and orchestrate cross-functional outputs across engineering, docs, content, and SE teams.

The role focuses on establishing Backblaze B2 as the preferred storage layer for developers and their agent-based workflows. You will drive a credible developer strategy, engage with open source ecosystems, and scale programs that convert awareness into adoption.

Qualifications

• Built or significantly grew a developer program, not just contributed to one.
• Ability to read codebases, evaluate SDKs, and discuss tradeoffs with engineers.
• Experience working cross-functionally across docs, engineering, content, and SE teams.

Responsibilities

• Own developer presence in the agentic stack and define what gent-ready means for Backblaze B2.
• Coordinate across engineering, docs, content, and SE teams to execute a unified developer strategy.
• Build credibility in developer communities through thought leadership, events, and open source engagement.
• Define success metrics (signups, activation, adoption in AI frameworks, content reach) and drive toward revenue impact.
