Job summary

1Password is seeking a Developer Relations Community Manager to build and nurture a technical developer community. You will engage in public conversations, support awareness of 1Password’s developer tools, and collaborate with engineering, product, and success teams to shape authentic, security‑focused engagement.

This remote role within the US and Canada reports to the Director of Developer Relations and focuses on events, online interactions, and advocating for user needs across social

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical roles including software or platform engineering, community management, support, or related fields.
• Experience engaging in sensitive and complex community situations in public online and in person.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including social media and GitHub.
• Proven experience organizing in-person and online events and long-running cross-functional projects.
• Ability to listen for insights, compile feedback, and advocate for it within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Engage by generating awareness of 1Password’s developer tools through public technical conversations on public channels.
• Build welcoming, engaging spaces for the developer community across Slack, GitHub, and social media.
• Advocate by synthesizing feedback into actionable insights for product teams.
• Enable by building tools and training for other 1Password employees to engage with the community.
• Celebrate by creating programs that recognize active community contributors.
• Reinforce impact by reusing assets across targeted, high-investment activities.
