Job summary

Raytheon Technologies’ Digital Technology division in Woburn, MA is seeking a Principal DevOps Tools Engineer/System Administrator (Server-based), onsite. You will design, implement and support DevOps solutions for key programs, enabling engineers to deliver secure, scalable tooling for complex defense projects.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, Linux server administration, and expertise with Jira, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Confluence, and container tech.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree with relevant experience.
• System administration experience in Linux based systems.
• Experience installing and supporting server-based DevOps tools (Jira, Git, BitBucket, GitLab, Confluence, Coverity, Jenkins, IBM Rational products, Azure DevOps Server).
• Experience working in development teams using Agile concepts and methodologies.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support DevOps solutions for key programs.
• Develop templates, dashboards and scripts to support program needs.
• Assist engineering teams with build/test pipeline automation and integration.
• Improve performance and scalability across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ensure reliability with fault tolerance and disaster recovery planning.
