Job summary

Ryan is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, IDP, and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will bridge software development with cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering to accelerate software delivery with reliability.

The role emphasizes scalable cloud-native patterns, self-service tooling, identity management, observability, and secure DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• Progression from software development to cloud infra/automation.
• Six+ years with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Harness, CloudBees).
• Deep Java and/or Node.js development experience.
• Strong AWS/Azure experience incl. networking & serverless.
• Advanced Terraform and IaC skills.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of Windows Server & SQL Server, incl. Availability Groups.
• Scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience with DevSecOps, security automation, and secrets management.
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js.
• Build standardized deployment workflows across AWS/Azure.
• Implement automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates.
• Create reusable pipeline templates & libraries.
• Improve build performance, reliability, and observability.
• Architect and manage IDP and self-service infrastructure.
