Ryan is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and implement an automated CI/CD ecosystem, IDP, and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. The role blends software development with platform engineering to accelerate delivery, improve reliability, and standardize tooling across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Evolution from software development into cloud infrastructure and automation.
• 6+ years hands-on with CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep development expertise in Java and/or Node.js environments.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure networking and serverless infra.
• Advanced Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Strong scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leadership in evaluations and PoC for tools/processes.
• Excellent collaboration across engineering, security, and operations.
• Clear, documentation-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Champion an automation-first DevOps culture with continuous improvement.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) for self-service infra and templates.
• Integrate CI/CD with cloud infra, identity, and observability platforms; maintain catalogs and metadata.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js apps.
• Design reusable pipeline templates and ensure secure software delivery.
