Job summary

Stack AI in San Francisco is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability. You will partner with engineering to ensure seamless deployments across environments.

You will own Kubernetes operations, create automation with IaC, and drive CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime releases while advancing observability and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Infra engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and IaC
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
• Scripting in Python or Bash
• Monitoring/observability with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog
• Strong problem-solving and startup-paced communication

Responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure: design, implement, maintain scalable, secure infra.
• Lead Kubernetes operations: deployments, scaling, monitoring.
• Build automation: IaC to standardize environments.
• Streamline CI/CD: architect and maintain zero-downtime deployments.
• Enable observability & security: monitoring, logging, alerting, security best practices.
• Collaborate across teams: work with engineers to improve architecture.
• Experiment & improve: explore tools, optimize workflows, refine DevOps practices.
