Job summary

GCH Technologies seeks an experienced DevOps Prime to own the DevOps function across the US SCR, UBID and RBM platforms. You will direct vendor work, own the AWS footprint, and shape IaC standards with a focus on security, reliability, and cost optimization.

The role requires managing external contractors, implementing CI/CD, and leading incident response with executive visibility. A senior, high-trust individual contributor position with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• Experience directing or overseeing DevOps work performed by external or offshore contractors and vendors.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including IAM, VPC, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical direction to DevOps resources and vendors, ensuring alignment with architecture, security, and standards.
• Define scopes, deliverables and acceptance criteria for vendor-led infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.
• Own the AWS footprint across multiple product lines and maintain IaC standards for reproducibility and auditable environments.
• Drive deployment standards, CI/CD gatekeeping, and release readiness.
• Lead incident response, post-incident reviews, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product and Customer Success to support release velocity and reliability.
