Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a System Engineer 5 in Redmond, WA for an on-site role focused on building a micro-VM platform for agentic workloads. You will own the infrastructure stack, provision compute environments, and maintain benchmarking frameworks to support AI workloads at scale.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-platform compute, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and delivering kernel/VM artifacts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
10+ years of relevant systems or infrastructure engineering experience is required.

Responsibilities

Provision and manage multi-platform cloud compute environments, automating configuration to reduce setup overhead.
Coordinate host access and isolation across team workloads while maintaining cloud subscriptions in a compliant and cost-efficient manner.
Improve the development environment and agentic engineering processes.
Own and extend the benchmarking harness for VM lifecycle measurements, tracking metrics such as boot latency, memory footprint, and throughput.
Design experiments for single-instance and concurrent-burst scenarios to surface regressions and validate improvements.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across all project repositories, automating build, test, and validation workflows.
Manage binary delivery channels for kernel, VM, and agent artifacts to accelerate developer iteration loops.
