Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Redmond, WA, seeks a hands-on Software Design Engineer II to build next-generation systems and AI-powered engineering capabilities. You will work across technology boundaries, turning research ideas into practical solutions.

You will develop in C/C++, Python, and PowerShell, with potential Rust/C# work, and collaborate on cloud, virtualization, and developer workflows in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in large systems software design and development.
• Strong problem diagnosis, debugging and unit testing skills on complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain software across AI and developer platforms.
• Develop software in C/C++, Python and PowerShell; potential work in Rust/C#.
• Work with OS, virtualization, and systems infrastructure; build automation for engineering workflows.
• Develop and integrate AI-based solutions for software engineering and program analysis.
• Explore automated code generation, test generation, debugging, and developer productivity.
