Job summary

Ambush is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and cloud security.

The candidate will work with Docker and Kubernetes, implement IaC tooling, and contribute to high availability and disaster recovery readiness. You will mentor peers and drive best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven AWS experience with EC2, EKS, IAM, S3 and VPC.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Deep Docker and Kubernetes orchestration knowledge.
• Networking, cloud security, IAM, and high availability expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, and cloud security. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on AWS experience with expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation, along with a strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and modern security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable deployments and automated testing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate environment setup and configuration.
• Establish and maintain observability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, and alerting for uptime and performance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Contribute to DevOps best practices and mentor other engineers on automation, cloud infrastructure, and reliability.

What we’d like to see in a candidate

• Proven expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, EKS, CodeBuild, IAM, VPC, S3, and ECS.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Solid scripting and automation experience.
• Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud security, IAM, security groups, firewalls, service roles, and high availability architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, and GitLab CI.
