Jpm & Djm Enterprises Services is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own reliability, scalability, automation, and security of our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will work with Engineering, Product, Data, and Security to maintain highly available environments.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Bitbucket, observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and strong emphasis on security and incident

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch.
• Advanced experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge (VPCs, routing, DNS, security groups).
• Experience implementing cloud security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, AWS Config).
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and automation skills.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python and Bash.

Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the reliability, scalability, automation, and security of our AWS cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on DevOps professional with deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, CI/CD, cloud security, and observability.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Data, and Security teams to build and maintain highly available production environments while continuously improving operational efficiency and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage and support production workloads running on Amazon ECS, EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and related tools.
• Drive cloud security initiatives, including IAM governance, secrets management, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage AWS networking components including VPCs, Load Balancers, Route 53, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, and VPC Endpoints.
• Lead troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance optimization efforts.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including:
• ECS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway
• S3, RDS, ElastiCache
• IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch
• Load Balancers and related networking services
• Advanced experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar platforms.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge, including VPCs, routing, DNS, security groups, NAT Gateways, and private connectivity.
• Experience implementing cloud security best practices, including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and AWS Config.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
• Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and automation skills.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python and Bash.
• Experience supporting business-critical production environments and driving reliability improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS environments.
• Experience supporting Java-based microservices.
• Familiarity with PHP/Laravel applications and AWS Lambda-based deployments.
• Experience with Packer and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting MongoDB or Elasticsearch workloads.
• AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
