Job summary

Ambush is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and cloud security.

The candidate will work with Docker and Kubernetes, implement IaC tooling, and contribute to high availability and disaster recovery readiness. You will mentor peers and drive best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven AWS experience with EC2, EKS, IAM, S3 and VPC.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Deep Docker and Kubernetes orchestration knowledge.
• Networking, cloud security, IAM, and high availability expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting reliable deployments.
• Implement IaC to automate environment setup and configuration.
• Establish observability with monitoring, logging, and alerts.
• Troubleshoot, enhance performance, and ensure DR readiness.
• Mentor engineers on automation, cloud infra, and reliability.
