Job summary

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos owned company in Maryland, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to help design, deploy, and automate secure platforms across Linux and Windows. You will integrate CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud deployments, and optimize infrastructure for mission-critical services.

Candidates must have 8+ years of technical DevOps experience, TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, and proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 8+ years of technical DevOps experience.
Familiarity with Git and version control best practices including branching/merging.
Strong Linux (RHEL 6/7/8) and Windows administration knowledge.
Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployment.
Expertise with caching (Redis, Memcache), MySQL clustering/tuning, and Elasticsearch (Kibana a plus).
Security practices, networking, firewalls, PCI compliance.
Experience with Agile environments and AWS cloud or virtualized servers in PaaS.
Programming in Ruby, C/C++, Go, Python, or Java; understanding OO programming.
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Support the development lifecycle including platform design, deployment, and debugging.
Build and maintain release pipelines for fast, secure production delivery.
Automate deployments across environments with scripting and toolkits.
Configure sites/applications via Puppet/Ansible; maintain Confluence/Jira.
Assist in designing/maintaining web service infrastructure and deployments.
Identify and implement process improvements through automation.
