Job summary

Legato, LLC seeks a DevOps Engineer to support deployment, administration, and operation of complex systems across lab, development, testing, and production environments. The role combines Linux admin with modern DevOps practices, including Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud deployment.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with Linux deployments, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps, plus an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience deploying software and systems, Linux administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Recent Kubernetes experience within the last three (3) years.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph; CCNA or Security+ certification preferred.
• Ability to provide 24/7 call-in support for critical systems.
• Willingness to travel for installations and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, administration, integration, testing, and ongoing operation of complex systems across labs, development, testing, and operations.
• Implement containerization, Kubernetes, cluster orchestration, cloud deployment, and system integration.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 technical support, diagnose failures, and restore systems to full operation.
• Install, upgrade, and optimize systems; maintain technical docs and procedures.
• Collaborate across engineering, cyber, software, and networking teams in mission-critical environments.
