Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of directly related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field, or 2 additional years of IT experience.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Working experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar).
• Knowledge of OIDC/OAuth/Auth2 or similar zero-trust identity implementations.
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps operations management.
• Experience with web server management (DNS, certificate management).
• Knowledge of HTTP API design standards and best practices.
• Ability to manage networking for web applications (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift, with knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenShift Containerized Platform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security for containers.
• Experience deploying and managing databases with SQL/ORMs.
• Comfortable writing Python and BASH for tooling.
• Ability to contribute code updates to repos.
• Experience designing enterprise software architectures in complex environments.
• Experience integrating security components with apps and databases.
• Technical certs like Network+, Security+, CISSP, etc.
• TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Configure CI/CD for multiple web applications.
• Take source code and dependencies to perform application builds.
• Perform automated testing and security scans.
• Deploy to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations).
• Responsible for Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management.
• Author Helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShift.
• Manage and document system security and perform updates in response to scans.
• Develop and apply advanced methods for complex software problems.
• Create architecture diagrams for new applications.
• Provide input to technical documentation and training materials.
• Prepare reports and present results to management and customers.
