Job summary

Amentum is seeking a DevOps/Software Engineer to join the Hanover, MD team to deliver sophisticated training solutions. You will contribute across the SDLC, build and maintain pipelines, and support cyber training platforms in a SCIF environment.

The role requires strong experience in DevOps, software development, and a secure work culture, with a focus on modern frameworks and hands-on delivery to mission-critical training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or related field with years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, shell scripting, C++, HTML/CSS/JS, React.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers and workstations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software used for computer-based training.
• Research, document, and test security solutions and CNE concepts.
• Develop training scenarios and material for operational readiness.
• Maintain and update class management tools and virtualization environments.
• Develop and deploy solutions in VMware, Kubernetes, Docker environments.
