Job summary

Envision Innovative Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy secure cloud infrastructure. You will automate CI/CD, manage containers with Docker/Kubernetes, and work with AWS/Azure/GCP. A TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is preferred for national security programs.

Applicants should have 14 years SWE experience and a CS degree, with strong automation and security fundamentals. Competitive compensation and training perks are offered.

Qualifications

• 14 years' experience as a SWE on programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy changes to existing software.
• Enhance infrastructure security protocols.
• Identify manual processes and automate them.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure.
• Automate code integration, testing, and deployment to production.
• Provision and manage environments with automation tools.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting to detect issues.
• Manage containerized apps for scalable deployment.
• Collaborate with infra and platform teams to remove barriers.
• Debug existing software and fix defects.
• Build reliable automation for CI and local environments.
• Work with engineering and QA to align automation with releases.
