Job summary

Qualifyze is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to define, implement, and maintain cloud-based server and database infrastructure, managed with Kubernetes. You will own monitoring with Datadog, enforce security and compliance, and drive infrastructure strategy in collaboration with engineering leadership.

You will help design CI/CD pipelines, mentor engineers, and work autonomously to deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions that align with product goals.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, Helm, and Datadog.
• Good knowledge of managing IaC with Terraform.
• Experience creating and managing pipelines and workflows with GitHub Actions or similar.
• Strategic mindset with ability to discuss product and infrastructure strategy.
• Autonomous work style with ownership of projects and timely delivery.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain cloud-based server and database infrastructure managed with Kubernetes.
• Adopt IaC as the base for managing infrastructure.
• Own and manage monitoring using Datadog modules.
• Collaborate with team leads and software architect for alignment across engineering efforts.
• Ensure security and compliance across environments and pursue relevant certifications.
• Contribute to infrastructure strategy and align with product direction and growth.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with development teams.
• Mentor engineers on DevOps best practices and infrastructure topics.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and drive implementations.
