Job summary

Stellar Cyber is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE to design, operate, and scale cloud-native infrastructure across multiple environments. You’ll own automation, incident response, and reliability for mission-critical data platforms, collaborating with distributed teams worldwide.

Candidates should have 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong Kubernetes/Docker skills, IaC with Terraform/Helm, and experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and data-tech stacks like Kafka and Elasticsearch. East Coast residents welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Kubernetes and Docker expertise with container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience managing production cloud environments.
• IaC experience with Terraform and Helm.
• CI/CD tooling and deployment automation experience.
• Troubleshooting Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager, Elastic Stack.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• High-availability production systems and on-call experience.
• Knowledge of incident management and reliability practices.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB.
• Understanding AI-driven operational tooling and automated remediation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Resides on the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm.
• Build automation tooling and workflows using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Drive observability initiatives including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents with on-call rotations.
• Support and optimize distributed data platforms including Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and efficiency using SRE practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Perform Linux system administration and networking troubleshooting.
• Contribute to incident response, postmortems, reliability improvements.
• Support GitOps and deployment workflows using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted tooling for auto-remediation and alert correlation.
