Job summary

Germanybasedcompanyspecializingindigitalsecurityfield is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote, long-term B2B contract. You will design and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for mobile apps, improve observability, and secure cloud infrastructure across teams.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and nginx as a reverse proxy, while championing security best practices like PKI, JWT, and secrets management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on GitLab and GitLab CI experience, incl. mobile app delivery (Fastlane).
• Excellent Docker fluency (3+ years).
• Familiar with and able to educate teams on following concepts and tools: Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, nginx, Observability, OTEL, Kubernetes/Helm.
• Deep familiarity with cyber-security and encryption concepts (PKI, strong cryptography, JWT/JWK, secrets management).
• Comfort with reviewing application code (PHP & Apache / Ruby & Puma).
• Fluency in understanding and maintaining complex network setups, VPNs, firewall rules.
