Job summary

Fundraise Up is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own a core platform area end-to-end, such as observability or CI/CD, from design through rollout and ongoing reliability. You’ll mentor others, own incidents, and collaborate with on‑prem and Kubernetes environments.

The role emphasizes strong Linux skills, Prometheus/Grafana tooling, and a track record of leading initiatives in a fast‑moving, remote‑friendly team. Fluency in Russian is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE.
• Track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Confident Linux skills (Ubuntu).
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Containers: Docker and registries.
• Ansible.
• Git.
• Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• Production/on-call experience diagnosing incidents.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Fluent Russian.

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end (observability or CI/CD).
• Drive technical initiatives end-to-end from design to production.
• Clarify requirements, assumptions, and next steps in ambiguity.
• Design for reliability and scale across platforms.
• Support developers on on‑prem and Kubernetes (Helm).
• Automate repetitive toil and improve tooling.
• Investigate production incidents and lead post-mortems.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through reviews and pairing.
• Leverage AI to improve troubleshooting and development.
