Job summary

Real Chemistry is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate our omnichannel healthcare platform across multiple environments. You will work directly with client infrastructure and security teams to enable live environments without forking the product, and drive platform-level observability and CI/CD in partnership with IT and security teams.

The role requires 8+ years in DevOps/SRE, with 2+ years leading a team, and experience in production serverless or managed-service infra.

Qualifications

8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
2+ years leading a team.
Experience running serverless or managed-service infrastructure in production.
Experience deploying and operating software inside client environments and coordinating with their security teams.
Track record hiring and growing engineers and running technical interview loops.
Comfort directing AI-assisted changes to infrastructure code.

Responsibilities

Design and drive platform deployment across multiple environments.
Work with client infrastructure and security teams to go live in their environment.
Direct the operational posture of data stores including backup/restore and failover testing.
Drive platform observability, security, and CI/CD with cross-team collaboration.
Establish incident response and on-call practices as the team grows.
Set guardrails for agentic or AI-assisted changes to infrastructure code.
