Job summary

Prudentia Sciences is seeking a hands-on Senior (or Principal) DevOps Engineer to own the platform's infrastructure, deployment, and reliability as we scale. You will design cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability for sensitive due diligence workflows.

You will work with software, ML engineers, and product teams to translate scaling needs into concrete investments, with a hybrid onsite role across US hubs including San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in Computer Science, software engineering, or related field.
• Cloud infrastructure in production (AWS) including networking, compute, storage, and IAM.
• IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) for repeatable infra.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation across frontend, backend, and ML services.
• Observability: monitoring, logging, alerting; track MTTR/MTTD; DORA metrics.
• Database & data flow: relational and NoSQL incl. backups, replication, performance.
• Security & compliance: secure infra, secrets, access controls, data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for full stack and ML services.
• Implement observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Drive reliability, uptime targets, SLAs, and incident response.
• Ensure security, secrets management, and compliance best practices.
• Optimize cost and performance of the cloud platform.
