Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. The role emphasizes automating, instrumenting, and operating our SaaS and on-prem systems with code, building reliable, scalable infrastructure, and owning platform performance.

You’ll collaborate with developers to bridge code and production and contribute to internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• 2+ years at a B2B software startup.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure systems for SaaS and On-Premise needs.
• Operate and optimize AWS and other cloud infrastructure with focus on cost, security, and performance.
• Contribute to internal platform tooling, CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions), and developer self-service capabilities.
• Enhance observability and incident response systems, including monitoring, alerting, and SLOs.
• Collaborate with stream-aligned product teams to understand needs and improve internal platforms.
• Help enforce and improve security and compliance standards, including SOC 2 controls.
• Contribute to documentation, onboarding materials, and internal support processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation
