Job summary

Centurion is seeking a highly qualified Software Engineer Master for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. The role requires deep experience architecting and leading development on complex systems, with on-site work near Lackland Air Force Base, and a focus on Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure security compliance in air-gapped/military environments while delivering scalable, maintainable software across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline; 10+ years of experience or equivalent mastery.
• DoD 8140 certification at or above IAT level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
• US Citizen with at least a Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Top-Secret SCI.
• Strong object-oriented design and architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure as code and environments provisioning.
• Proficient Linux system administration (Red Hat/Rocky Linux), scripting, troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture decisions; conduct code/design reviews and set engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers on best practices, clean coding, and OO design principles.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, security scanning, packaging, and Kubernetes deployment.
