Job summary

Frontier Technology Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our mission-driven engineering team, developing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and secure cloud infrastructure for DoD, IC, and federal projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS GovCloud, Docker and Kubernetes, Python and TypeScript, and integrating security controls into pipelines with a focus on reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance; existing secret clearance preferred.
• 6+ years of DevOps Engineering experience with cloud infrastructure automation.
• Deep experience with automation and configuration-management tooling (Python, Bash, Terraform).
• Strong CI/CD background across full software lifecycle (Azure DevOps or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Build, monitor, and improve automated CI/CD pipelines (code building, testing, deployment).
• Own infrastructure-as-code end-to-end using Terraform (AWS GovCloud preferred).
• Containerize workloads with Docker and manage Kubernetes environments.
• Embed security scanning into pipelines to reduce vulnerabilities (DevSecOps).
• Write automation tooling in Python and TypeScript for internal CLIs and pipelines.
• Set up observability: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting; manage standards for deployment policy and cost controls.
• Support compliance and continuous ATO by implementing NIST 800-53 / STIG controls.
• Manage source repositories and version-control workflows (Azure DevOps / GitHub).
