Job summary
Rocket Lab, based in Long Beach, CA, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer I to build and operate the observability platform. You will design metrics, dashboards, and alerting for mission-critical systems, interfacing with Space Systems teams and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with production observability and monitoring platforms.
- Experience with AWS and GCP cloud services.
- US citizenship is required due to program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and improve the observability stack across environments.
- Design scalable metrics collection and dashboards for engineering and leadership.
- Develop and maintain alerting and incident-response workflows.
- Integrate AWS CloudWatch/CloudTrail telemetry for security and ops visibility.
- Collaborate with development teams and CI/CD pipelines to bake in observability.
