Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) for a 12-month contract to enable reliable software delivery through CI/CD automation, cloud and container platform support, and operational excellence practices.

You will partner with development, infrastructure, and security teams to manage builds, deployments, and releases while driving automation and ensuring enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in Application Support, DevOps, SRE, or related technology role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance build, deployment, and release processes.
• Support development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex application and platform issues across layers.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Work with Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, XLR, OpenShift/Kubernetes, AWS, and Vault.
• Ensure compliance with security and risk-management standards.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
