Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a product engineering organization building a cloud-based B2B SaaS platform.

The role bridges Development and Infrastructure, focusing on scalable, automated, secure, and observable systems. The candidate will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud-native deployments while collaborating across engineering, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or similar technologies.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical bridge between Development and Infrastructure teams.
• Lead infrastructure-focused design discussions and provide real-world deployment expertise during product development.
• Help architect and support a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting product releases and customer deployments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions for repeatable and scalable environments.
• Automate manual infrastructure and operational processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
