Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide operations and deployment support across enterprise platforms, focusing on CI/CD automation and cloud-native platforms. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to enable reliable software delivery, manage build and release processes, and ensure security standards are met.

This contract role spans 12 months with hybrid work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/Engineering.
7+ years in Application Support, DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
Strong automation mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and enhance build, deployment, and release processes.
Support development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
Troubleshoot complex application and platform issues across layers.
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, stability, and scalability.
Work with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, XLR, OpenShift/Kubernetes, AWS, and Vault.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and risk management standards.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
