Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automated deployments, observability, and improving developer workflows.

You will work with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to strengthen platform reliability and enable faster software delivery across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD deployment automation.
• Scripting or programming ability to automate infra operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Build internal tools to reduce manual work and boost developer productivity.
• Partner with engineering teams to enforce DevOps best practices and reliability.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and failure points.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Drive infrastructure projects contributing to long-term scalability and health.
