Job summary

CarGurus LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Enablement team. You will design, implement, and operate scalable platform services that improve developer experience, reliability, and self-service infrastructure across the company.

The role focuses on platform delivery, IaC policy engineering, secrets management, and governance for AI tooling. A hybrid work model is supported with collaboration across multiple teams, including SRE and product engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS, ElastiCache).
• Proficiency with Terraform, Sentinel/Semgrep, and policy-as-code enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of major platform capabilities end-to-end.
• Manage Terraform workspaces, module registry, and policy implementations.
• Accelerate Vault adoption and dynamic secrets across workloads.
• Operate governed Bedrock platform and implement access controls/cost attribution.
• Expand AWS self-service offerings and IaC tooling for teams.
• Lead CI/CD platform initiatives (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, CircleCI) and pipeline security.
• Mentor teammates via code/IaC reviews and set coding standards.
• Collaborate with Cloud Infra, SRE, DevX, and product teams on architecture.
