Job summary

CarGurus seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Enablement team. You will design, implement, and operate scalable platform services that improve developer experience and reliability across the company.

You’ll drive IaC and policy engineering, accelerate Vault adoption, and shape our AI tooling governance. This role demands hands-on execution, cross-team collaboration, and a passion for secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on DevOps/platform engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS, ElastiCache, EC2.
• Proficiency with Terraform and policy-as-code (Sentinel/Semgrep).

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of platform capabilities and lead multi-sprint initiatives end-to-end.
• Manage IaC platform & policy engineering including Terraform workspaces and module registry.
• Accelerate Vault adoption and manage dynamic secrets, PKI/CA, and IAM credentials.
• Maintain governance for AI tooling and Bedrock access, cost attribution, and security patterns.
• Expand AWS self-service catalog and monitor adoption metrics to guide investments.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and enhance team coding standards.
