Job summary

auxmoney GmbH is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape our cloud platform, solving complex problems and delivering scalable, reliable solutions. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across domains, raise engineering standards, and mentor teammates.

You will own architectural decisions, design secure cloud platforms, and drive automation, observability, and continuous delivery in a distributed systems environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Professional Go (Golang) experience for automation, platform tooling, or backend services.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and ownership: contribute to architectural decisions and trade-offs across reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
• Reliable platforms: design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms and services.
• Automation and delivery: improve automation, deployment processes, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Distributed systems: work with distributed software, event-driven architectures, and event streaming.
• Incremental delivery: break complex initiatives into smaller workstreams and deliver value step by step.
• Root-cause problem solving: investigate recurring issues and create lasting solutions.
• Team enablement: share knowledge, mentor less experienced engineers, promote collaboration and shared responsibility.
