Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. seeks a Sr. DevOps Engineer in Cloud Operations to own production-grade infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will design, deploy, and operate SaaS and Hosted services with a focus on reliability, security, and performance across global regions.

You will implement scalable Kubernetes clusters, automate CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Services to ensure high availability and rapid delivery of features to enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience supporting Java/J2EE applications in production.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain resilient, secure, and highly available infrastructure on GCP for SaaS and Hosted services.
• Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters across regions; own lifecycle and capacity planning.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident response using CI/CD and GitOps.
• Monitor stability and performance with GCP observability tools and troubleshoot issues.
• Scale infrastructure to meet increasing demand and optimize costs.
• Own end-to-end operational responsibility for customer-facing environments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services and other teams.
• Advise on production readiness and deployment best practices.
